Police in the Isle of Man are investigating two incidents in which Department of Infrastructure staff working on the roads were threatened by drivers.
The Manx government is set to trial mobile CCTV cameras at roadworks to help protect its employees from such abuse.
Inspector Terry Stephen, who is newly in charge of traffic policing on the Island, says he has arranged for officers to monitor the sites:
