Recorded crime in the Isle of Man is down, according to figures just released by the police.
In the latest six month analysis, crime fell by just over 12 per cent, compared to the same period last year.
The Island's detection rate remains at 47 per cent, well above that in the United Kingdom where the figure is 28 per cent.
Police chiefs put the drop in recorded crime down to their neighbourhood policing strategy.
