Police are appealing for the driver of a car which crashed near Foxdale, damaging a farm fence, to come forward.
The incident happened last Friday (12 Dec) when a light coloured car span off the shoulder road near the village and hit fences used to retain livestock in a field.
Police say the car would have needed recovering after the accident and they're asking anyone who can help trace the driver to contact any officer or call headquarters on 631212.
Repairs had to be carried out to the fencing to prevent animals straying onto the road.
