Group of 20 believed to have been pre-organised
Police say they want to speak to a group of people caught swimming together in Laxey Bay.
Around 20 swimmers were seen 'quickly dispersing' at 6.20am this morning - it's believed they were part of an organised group.
Although current Covid regulations allow for some outdoor exercise officers say they don't believe the rules were being followed in this case.
Anyone who was involved, or knows someone who was, has been asked to contact Ramsey Police Station.
Officers say further information suggests a similar gathering is being planned again and they will attend to 'encourage compliance' for the benefit of all residents.
