It happened on Friday evening
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal accident on the Mountain Road.
Just before 8pm on Friday emergency services were called to the road traffic collision in the area of the Creg-Na-Baa.
The following day, the man died as a result of his injures.
In a statement, the constabulary says it does not believe anyone else was involved in the incident, but they are now searching for witnesses.
They're also asking anyone who could have passed the scene between 7.30pm and 8pm who may have dash-cam footage to provide it to them.
