14 packages of Class A drug found
Police have seized £10,000 worth of heroin from a property in Douglas.
The Drugs and Organised Crime Unit recovered 14 packages, containing around 40 grams of the Class A substance, during a raid on a warranted address yesterday.
In a post on social media, the constabulary says the seizure proves its focus on disrupting Class A drug supplies is working.
Our Drugs and Organised Crime Unit executed a warrant at an address in Douglas yesterday and recovered 14 packages of heroin with a street value of £10,000. We said last week that we would be looking at Class A drugs and this shows we have and will continue to do so. #IOMPolice pic.twitter.com/wKolkxSKHc
