Police have seized drugs with a street value of £140,000.
The haul was made on Sunday (3rd) when officers found a large amount of cannabis in a car and garage at Anaghcoar in Douglas.
A 36 year old man was arrested at the scene and taken to police headquarters for questioning. He will appear in court this morning (Tues 5th) charged with several drug related offences.
Acting Detective Inspector Steve Maddocks from the Pro-Active drugs unit says it's another example of police directly targeting those involved in the supply of drugs to and on the Island.
Anyone with any information regarding drugs or other criminal activity is urged to contact police in confidence or use the anonymous Crimestoppers line 0800 555 111
