A gun has been seized by the Manx police's tactical firearms unit after a person reported they were nearly struck by a gunshot.
Officers were sent to the scene yesterday afternoon following a call from a member of the public claiming they had almost been hit.
A bolt action firearm was seized after a male was located, with officers having to travel a considerable distance on foot due to the rural location.
