Officers in Heysham uncovered bars of cannabis worth £60,000 in the boot of a silver Saab car yesterday morning.
The 56 bars have been described by Lancashire police as a major haul.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
