Two police stations will close and up to 10 positions will be lost as part of the budgetary savings in the Isle of Man Constabulary.
Around £600,000 worth of cuts are to be made within the next six months, which will hit front-line services.
The current five policing neighbourhoods will be reduced to four with the eastern neighbourhood of Laxey, Lonan, Braddan and Onchan restructured.
Onchan and Braddan stations have been earmarked for closure.
