There are going to be more bobbies on the beat in Pulrose, Willaston and Anagh Coar, as the police aim to tackle a recent spate of antisocial behaviour in the areas.
Sergeant Darrill Pearson of the Eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team says there have been a lot of nuisance incidents, such as throwing stones and mud at windows and moving vehicles.
Police say they would look to deal with a child's parents first, but warn that ultimately such actions could land a youngster in court.
