A series of arrests have been made in Douglas today (Tuesday), as part of a police money-laundering investigation.
The operation is being led by the Financial Crime Unit, and is understood to be focused on the drugs trade within the Island.
it's not clear yet how many arrests there have been, but police say it is an intelligence led, proactive operation to disrupt the supply of drugs locally.
Further details will be released tomorrow.
The arrests were made this morning.
