More details emerge after boy injured
Police are warning firearms holders to make sure weapons and ammunition are stored safely, after a teenager was injured yesterday.
The unnamed 16 year old needed hospital treatment after ammunition he and a friend had exploded in North Ramsey.
Parents are being asked to tell children about the dangers of firearms and ammunition – and say they already check legally held weapons are stored securely.
