Officers expected to carry out routine exercises
The Isle of Man Constabulary’s firearms unit is conducting training in the south of the Island this afternoon. (5 December)
Officers are practising search techniques in open countryside as part of the National Training Programme.
Police stress this is just an exercise, and there’s no cause for concern.
The public is advised the activity is planned and routine.
