Tactical Firearms Unit will be at Ramsey Grammar School
The Isle of Man Constabulary has issued a warning to residents in the North of the Island this evening (9 July) as its officers undergo specialist training in the area.
The Tactical Firearms Unit will be at Ramsey Grammar School and the training will involve the use of blank ammunition.
Police say this helps their firearms officers to be 'fully prepared for all eventualities' and 'provides invaluable training by the use of new training venues'.
The public in the vicinity should not be concerned as it is only a training exercise.
