Young culprits 'ruining it' for rest says officer
Police say they've stepped up patrols, after an outbreak of vandalism around the Island.
No less than twelve incidents have been reported in the last two months - five of which have occurred over the school Easter Holidays.
Among the targets have been windows at the Villa Marina, cars in Braddan and public furniture around the capital.
There were also 'several nights' of unruly behaviour in Douglas earlier this month, which caused distress to a number of residents.
Inspector Gavin Callow has condemned those responsible - but he's insisting not all young people should be tarred with the same brush:
