Farmer reports multiple cases of livestock escaping
People are being urged not to leave gates open on farm land.
Police have received reports from a local farmer who says livestock has been escaping on a number of occasions over the last few weeks.
Officers are now asking people not to enter private land and to make sure all gates, on public land, are closed properly before moving on.
They say livestock escaping can have numerous knock on effects and can very quickly result in 'unnecessary suffering or harm'.
