Fifty-five-year-old man arrested
A 55-year-old man is in police custody in relation to a post widely shared on social media.
The Isle of Man Constabulary says the man was arrested for alleged offences committed under Manx law.
In a statement, the police say they have to work within the current laws of the Isle of Man, and that new sexual offences bill being progressed through Tynwald will bring the Island's legislation closer in line with other jurisdictions.
