Recorded message delivered in 'authoritative English'
Reports have been received of phone scammers targeting Manx residents by pretending to be 'UK customs' investigating fraud.
Police says a recorded message, delivered in 'an authoritative and well-spoke English accident', is threatening to 'raise a warrant' against the receiver, if they don't press one.
The scammers are calling on 07093105138.
Advice is to hang up the phone, and raise awareness by sharing knowledge of the scam with family and friends.
