Police say they are satisfied after a court convicted a man for causing death by dangerous driving.
Father of three David Lees from Santon was riding a black Suzuki motorbike near the Creg-ny-Baa public house when he died on April 18 last year.
Yesterday, Deemster Doyle found Keiran Baxter guilty of killing the 36-year-old in the incident.
Senior Investigating Inspector Terry Stephen said the investigation was a long and thorough one, and thanked the police team for their work in gathering evidence for the prosecution.
He said he was very satisfied with the conviction after Baxter was found guilty.
In a statement, Mr Lees' family expressed their thanks to all those who offered support and help over the last year and said they were especially grateful to the police.
