Ray Harmer has served the constituency since 2015
The policy and reform minister has announced his intention to stand in this year's general election.
Ray Harmer will contest the votes in Glenfaba and Peel where he's held one of the constituency's two seats in the House of Keys over the past five years.
He's outlined his priorities as 're-energising the economy' and 'seizing new opportunities through technology and green initiatives'.
Locally, Mr Harmer wants to continue to fight for the Peel Sewage Plant to be built, and to get the STEM block at QEII up and running.
MLC Kate Lord-Brennan has also announced her intention to stand in the constituency on Thursday, 23 September.
