Party's hope for greater political awareness
The LibVan party leader says she hopes more people will become politically active next year - ahead two major elections.
Kate Beecroft says politicians and those who seek to represent the public will be scrutinised more than ever before - as voters consider the line-ups for Island-wide local authority elections in April and a House of Keys general election in September.
In a look ahead to 2016, Mrs Beecroft says fresh input is needed in parliament - and believes new faces will be welcomed by the Manx public.
She says public finance shortfalls must be gripped and dealt with firmly by the next administration:
