MHKs critical of lack of detail
Tynwald members have voted to postpone a motion asking for £20 million additional cash for health spending.
Treasury Minister Alex Allinson had asked the court to approve a supplementary vote which would increase the Department of Health and Social Care’s budget for the financial year.
If approved the money would have come from the General Reserve and cover Manx Care’s expected £15.8 million overspend, potential tertiary costs and other risks to the forecast.

However backbench MHK’s Julie Edge and Lawrie Hooper were among those who complained about the amount of detail offered by Treasury.
In turn that was defended by Dr Allinson and Chief Minister Alfred Cannan:
