Sophie returned safely to her field
Fire crews have helped get a pony back on its hoofs, after it tumbled into a ditch.
A major pump, an enhanced rescue vehicle and a line rescue team arrived at the farm in West Baldwin to find Sophie stuck after sliding down the slope.
With the owner and a vet there to supervise, she was brought out safely after a pathway had been dug down to her.
A quick check and she was back in her field where her companions got the full story, from the horses mouth.
