President of Tynwald Noel Cringle will officially launch the 2008 Royal British Legion poppy appeal in the Isle of Man today.
The Strand Shopping Centre in Douglas will be the venue, at 10.30am.
Isle of Man county publicity officer for the Royal British Legion Major Charles Wilson is urging the Manx public to show its support once again, and says the Island has a proud record to defend:
