The 2007 Royal British Legion poppy appeal has been officially launched in the Island by Chief Minister Tony Brown.
At the launch, in the Strand Shopping Centre in Douglas, County President Ian Cannell congratulated the givers and the appeal helpers after last year's record breaking collection, before the Chief Minister carried out the official proceedings (audio file attached):
