You may soon be able to watch Port Erin Commissioners meetings online – but there may not be as many of them.
Tonight (Tuesday, April 28th), the board will discuss plans from member Ged Power to cut the number of meetings to just one a month.
Last month, the local authority agreed to look into webcasting its public meetings for residents who can’t get to the town hall.
And it’s not the only change that may be on the way: the commissioners are also asking people for their views on cutting the number of representatives on the board.
This evening’s meeting takes place at the local authority’s office on Bridson Street, starting at 7pm.
