Chair Hannah Mackenzie welcomes motorhomes and visitors to the village
Port Erin Commissioners says infrastructure issues around campervans need addressing before the village can be fully accessible to visitors.
Under its by-laws, the local authority can introduce measures to deal with abandoned vehicles to protect residents - but these don't cover motorhomes specifically.
The commissioners have also put in place a 'Vision Port Erin Strategy', which involves looking at legislation including footpaths and open spaces to make the village a better place to live.
Chair Hannah Mackenzie says the local authority is 'keen to address' the issue of grey and foul waste disposal over the coming years.
