Manx Care issues update for patients
All patients from Port Erin Dental Practice are now being seen from The Square Dental Practice in Douglas.
It follows a fire which gutted the southern premises earlier this month (8 July).
Manx Care says it is 'continuing to work with the provider to establish other options that may be available in terms of location going forward'.
It adds that any patients unable to travel to Douglas should contact its team directly on 01624 833667 to make alternative arrangements.
They will then be able to be seen by another practice in Port Erin.
Manx Care says any calls made directly to any other dental practices by patients in relation to their ongoing dental care will be not able to be dealt with.
Government's official update can be found HERE.
UPDATE 4:45pm: Manx Radio has received reports that patients who've contacted The Square are being told that the above advice is incorrect, and that the practice is only seeing patients on an emergency basis.
Manx Radio has contacted Manx Care to clarify.
Government has since removed the below post and we are awaiting an update.
