20-year-old admitted possessing the drugs
A man's admitted possessing class A and B drugs outside a nightclub in Douglas.
Twenty-year-old Ben Simpson of Rowany Drive in Port Erin appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Christopher Arrowsmith at Douglas courthouse.
He admitted possessing ecstasy and ketamine in Regent Street in Douglas on 25 October.
Prosecution advocate Barry Swain told the hearing Simpson had been drinking in 1886 when he was asked to leave by bouncers.
As he was led outside, door staff called police for assistance before spotting a small plastic baggie drop to the floor.
Simpson was searched and had 0.1 grammes of MDMA as well as 0.2 grammes of ketamine with a combined street value of £10.
He admitted the drugs were his and told officers he'd bought them from a man outside Peggy's nightclub on Douglas Promenade.
Mr Arrowsmith fined him a total of £800 and ordered him to pay £125 towards prosecution costs.
