Committed to stand trial at Court of General Gaol Delivery
A 54-year-old man accused of launching an unprovoked attack on his elderly parents has appeared before magistrates.
Antony John Ellis, of Baymount in Port Erin, pleaded not guilty to two charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm when he appeared at Douglas courthouse.
He’s alleged to have carried out the attack at their home on 1 May.
Mr Ellis was remanded in custody as he was committed to stand trial at the Court of General Gaol Delivery on a date to be fixed.
