Current provider decided to continue their contract
In April, the Isle of Man Post Office announced it was running a tender exercise for counter and parcel collection services in Port Erin.
The current sub postmaster gave notice of their contract which prompted the move.
However, within the contract there is a clause which enables the sub postmaster to retract their notice and subsequently continue providing services under contract.
The current sub postmaster has rescinded their notice and is set to continue working within the Port Erin branch.
As a result, the tender exercise has been cancelled.
