Chief minister gives statement on cases of 'local transmission'
A positive case of Covid-19, discovered last night, relates to the 'cluster' identified on-Island last week.
In Tynwald this morning, the chief minister told members this case was transmitted on Island, but through a close contact, and stressed the virus remains outside of the wider community.
The number of active cases related to the cluster now stands at five.
Howard Quayle's comments following an urgent question on the issue from Onchan MHK Julie Edge.
Responding to a question from Garff MHK Daphne Caine, the Mr Quayle said he couldn't rule out further related cases:
