Proposal follows spate of teenage deaths
An 8pm curfew could be introduced for R plate drivers on the Island.
It's believed the idea is being considered by the Department of Infrastructure.
The proposal follows a spate of deaths on Island roads in recent years, involving teenage drivers on R plates.
At the moment it's understood the move is one which is under consideration, and there is no set date for any possible introduction of such an initiative.
