IoM negotiating with UK authorities
Negotiations are ongoing between Isle of Man and UK authorities over fishing rights in the Irish Sea.
The United Kingdom's been able to choose who can operate in its waters since withdrawing from the EU.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture's senior marine environmental officer Dr Peter Duncan is hopeful of a good outcome:
