Construction body head wants skills shortage addressed locally
Delays to the importation of specialist products, and a shortage of skills are the two problems the construction industry could face post-Brexit.
President of the Isle of Man Construction Federation Alan Clague says those are the issues trade magazines are highlighting, and he doesn't see why the Isle of Man would be any different.
He admits that while the Island is somewhat at the mercy of outside factors when it comes to materials, any potential shortage of skills can be addressed locally:
