DESC looking at ways to encourage more higher education
The number of Manx residents applying to study post-graduate courses increased by more than 40% this year.
Education minister Dr Alex Allinson confirmed 82 people have signed up for such courses in the 2020-21 academic year, compared to 57 the year before.
Seventy five applied for a loan from the Department of Education, Sport and Culture to cover their tuition fees.
