Unanimous vote to ballot for strike
The experience and suitability of the Isle of Man Post Office's board has been questioned by a union leader.
Terry Pullinger of the Communication Workers' Union made the comments while being interviewed on Manx Radio's Mandate programme today.
Postal workers who attended a meeting yesterday voted unanimously to ballot for strike action, as they object to plans to change their terms and conditions.
Mr Pullinger wonders if those in charge at the post office are up to the task.
Manx Radio understands the Post Office is preparing a statement in response to the vote.
