Post early to ensure your Christmas gifts and cards arrive on time.
Isle of Man Post is repeating that general reminder, in case there is a repeat of last year's snow and ice, which caused severe disruption to postal services throughout the British Isles on the run-up to December 25.
Today (Monday) is the last day the Post Office will guarantee pre-Christmas delivery on items bound for South and Central America, the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, the Far East, Australia and New Zealand.
From today, Douglas Mail Centre will be open for extended hours until December 23, to accommodate the increased demand.
