Isle of Man Post chief executive Mike Kelly is assuring customers contingency plans are in place, should postal staff decide to take some form of industrial action.
Members of the Communication Workers' Union, who make up just over half the Post Office's workforce, are to be balloted on industrial action over a pay dispute.
Post Office management claims they have to follow the Manx government's public sector pay freeze.
Mr Kelly says plans will be refined once it's known what form of action may be taken:
