It will remain heart of community says chairman
The chairman of the Post Office has moved to reassure customers in Ramsey they won’t suffer when the facility relocates.
It follows yesterday’s confirmation that Mannin Retail has been appointed to run the service from a nearby Spar shop.
Mannin had initially been given the contract to run the post office before an ultimately unsuccessful plan was developed by a local community group to take it over and keep it in its current location, in the Ramsey Courthouse building.
Graham Cregeen says when the move takes place next spring, the post office will remain at the heart of the community.
