Forty-eight-hour walkout ends
Isle of Man Post Office staff who are members of the Communication Workers' Union have returned to work this morning, following their 48-hour walkout.
They've been on strike as the union and the board of the post office failed to reach an agreement over changes to terms and conditions.
That still has to be resolved, but there is no further strike action planned until at least after Christmas, with the CWU's deputy general secretary (postal), Terry Pullinger, due to return to the Island in January for further talks.
