The first of two 24-hour postal strikes in the United Kingdom has begun and it will lead to disruption to mail sent to the Isle of Man.
Today, UK mail centre staff and drivers are staging industrial action, and tomorrow it will be the turn of delivery and collection staff.
Members of the Communication Workers Union are staging the strikes, but Royal Mail has contingency plans in place to cope, and is aiming to minimise disruption.
Isle of Man Post employees are not involved.
