Nesting birds to be left alone
A Ballaugh postbox has been temporarily closed for an unusual reason.
Some birds have decided to nest in the one at Ballaterson, and Isle of Man Post Office has decided it isn't going to disturb them.
Isle of Man Post has instead decided to close it until further notice, so that the birds' young are able to hatch and be reared in their own time.
It apologises for any inconvenience caused.
