A candidate for the Douglas South by-election says she wants to tackle poverty in her constituency, if elected.
Amy Burns lives in Douglas with her husband and four young children and describes herself a stay-at-home mum.
She came to prominence in a campaign against the privatisation of pre-school nurseries three years ago.
The other three candidates in next month’s South Douglas by-election are Bill Malarkey, Keith Fitton and Kurt Buchholz.
Mrs Burns says her main goal would be to help those in need within her constituency:
RCN members consulted over latest pay offer
The public deserves far better than the dysfunctional shambles it's seeing
Payments to Isle of Man Meats board more than triple over three years
Coastal overtopping expected either side of high tide
