Outpatients and visitors are being asked NOT to go to Nobles hospital today (Tues) after the hospital suffered what's described as a serious power outage this morning.
The hospital is currently running on emergency power from its own standby generators and it's being stressed there is no problem for inpatients and staff.
The mains power failed sometime before 8 o'clock this morning, but the cause of the problem isn't currently known.
A further announcement is expected around ten o'clock this morning.
