Politician denies data protection offences
The pre-trial review of a Tynwald member and his father charged with data protection offences is due to go ahead at Douglas Courthouse today (Tuesday).
MLC Juan Turner, of Glen Vine, and David Turner from Douglas are being prosecuted for failing to register companies under the Data Protection Act.
Both men deny two offences, said to have been committed between January 2016 and October last year.
Island FM and Carrick Creative, both of Mountain View in Douglas, also deny one count each of failing to register.
