Advice from UK's JCVI updated
Pregnant women on the Island will be offered a coronavirus vaccine.
The announcement comes following updated advice from the UK's Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation.
Until now, only those at high risk of Covid-19 infection or those with clinical conditions putting them at risk have been offered a jab.
Expectant mothers will now be offered a vaccine based on their age and risk at the same time as the rest of the population.
Those with queries should contact their community midwife or the maternity unit on 650030.
