Re-trial next month
The preliminary hearing of a former soldier accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend will be held today (Wednesday).
Lee Michael Dillon denies fracturing his former partner's eye socket and stabbing her three times at his Marown home in August 2016.
Earlier this year, he was found not guilty of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
A re-trial has been scheduled for Tuesday 30th January after jurors were unable to reach a verdict on a second charge of unlawful wounding.
