
The long service of a major figure in trade unionism in the Isle of Man has been recognised.
Bernard Moffatt served as president of the Trades Union Council here for 20 years, before stepping down at the AGM in April.
Representatives from the local branches of various unions were at Transport House in Douglas to pay tribute and see him presented with a framed picture of Eary Cushlin, his favourite place on the Island.
Mr Moffatt told the group he was delighted to receive it:
